Growing company just west of Plymouth needs the help of an entry level buyer who wants to learn and advance in their field. This is a contract to hire position for a person who has purchased MRO and managed vendors. Some general sourcing duties will also be part of the job. Coordinating activities and information with key vendors. Administrative functions for the department. Special projects and other general office duties. $28.00 per hour.


  • Purchase assigned materials, supplies and services
  • Work with vendors to help establish consistent costs and expectations
  • Manage inventory
  • General office duties as needed


  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent business experience
  • 1 years purchasing experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Administrative experience
  • Good computer skills and experience in ERP/ MRP systems

Must have experience in purchasing department and must be in the Twin Cities metro area.
