Job Summary: Great opportunity to be the “go to” person working closely with internal teams, vendors and customers. The Logistics Coordinator will keep track of all delivery dates for materials, process Purchase Orders and communicate status of material lead times allowing for appropriate scheduling. Will also work with vendors to solve problems and assure delivery dates are met.      

Responsibilities:

  • Interact with Project Managers and Sales teams to help determine project schedules
  • Process Purchase Orders for supplies for on-site projects
  • Manage assigned customers inventory including freight claims, shortages, order changes and return of excess materials
  • Work with vendors to assure time tables and pricing agreements are met while maintaining strong supplier relationships

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in Business or related discipline
  • 2-3 years of Purchasing and/or Logistics experience
  • Excellent Excel skills and ERP experience Oracle preferred
  • Customer service background and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
