Job Summary:  Be part of a nationwide distribution organization. Maintain appropriate stock levels. Minimize outdated and slow moving inventory. Analyze data to determine what and when materials are needed and how much. Purchase materials from traditional vendors. Schedule pickups and delivery with suppliers. No travel


  • Determine the optimum number of each product order to insure appropriate inventory
  • Maintain proper stock levels according to customer demand
  • Minimize levels of outdated and slow moving inventory
  • Prepare process and track PO’s and schedule deliveries and pickup of products
  • Work with vendors to resolve issues and make sure materials arrive on time


  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2-5 years in a fast paced distribution purchasing department
  • Good computer skills and ERP/MRP experience
  • Ability to analyze data and work with a wide range of individuals
